The School Up North. IIRC, Woody wouldn't even reference them by name. He didn't even want to utter the word michigan, so he referred to them as The School Up North. I hadn't heard of either until I came to this board.

They have speed? So all of a sudden the Big 10 is the slowest conference in college football.

Does anybody other than me think the bowl selections this year are a bit suspicious? Putting Boise St. and TCU against each other in the same BCS bowl seems a bit fishy to me.

Last year Utah whips Alabama. Two years before that, Boise State stuns Oklahoma. Now you have two good teams that could make some noise in the bowl games again, so what does the BCS do? They make them play each other. What a bunch of crap. Are they afraid that either of these teams will beat one of the "big boys" again and put more pressure for a playoff? I'm calling RAT on this one. The BCS doesn't want a playoff and the opponent selection this year is glaring proof.

In all fairness the Fiesta Bowl has a history of matching up teams that could've/should've been in the NC game. That being said, you've got to wonder why Cincy isn't in that game...

PJ's not ACC coach of the year twice in a row because the option doesn't work.

Been the most fun season of Tech football to watch since I got here in '05, hope it finishes up the right way.
