The BCS got it right. There is no way that a team who lost to an unranked team who finished 6-6 should play for the Natty.

And everyone arguing for a playoff, do you not realize that rematches would be very common in a playoff.

I agree 100%. We already know lsu is better than alabama by a fieldgoal kicker. What we won't find out now is whether Ok State is better than lsu which in my estimation is more worth answering than whether or not alabama has improved on special teams. Watching these two play again proves nothing except how flawed the system is. What a waste. I actually want to watch less now that it is a rematch.

Legit playoff rematches wouldn't be an issue for me. Teams winning their way to the next round is cool, a computer putting them there isn't.
