Fair enough on Mattison, but what about Al Washington? Also, we still have the GOAT Larry Johnson on staff, so I'm not too worried about Mattison actually doing any damage to our defensive line. Also, our defense was historically bad this year, so while we could get even worse, I some how doubt it.

Not at all. I find the best way to figure out the truth is to hear both embellished sides and decide for myself. There is no doubt heads are turning to the Khaki and saying well??? Are you going to make changes or what? His ego wont let him progress with today's game and that will cause him to continue to be 1 -9 versus top ten teams. I am not one of those bury your head in the sand types. I think they are in trouble and the offense HAS to change or they will lose 3 or 4 again next year and likely get embarrassed by their rivals.

Jalen Hurts puts his name in the transfer portal. I'm thinking he thinks he should have been given the opportunity to save the game just as Tua did last year. Given the way the game was going in the second half I believe he has a point.

My son told me last night … it is the double edge sword of having a ton of talent in a program and attracting even more talent into the program.

Heck LSU benefitted from Joe B. and Justin Fields is on the move, and we all know the Baker Mayfield story … so it seems like a trend is in place.

These are very young men, and the number of opinions in their ears is hard to fathom. I wish him well, he seems like a quality "kid" and I want to see him succeed.

Yes, his little brother but he doesn't seem to be the caliber that Tua is. He lost the High School State Championship game almost as bad as his brother lost the CFP game.

Yeah, but Taulia was pretty strong in the Thompson vs Hewit Trussville game. And the Trussville QB, Paul Tyson, another 4 star is also at Bama...and he's the great grandson of Bear Bryant. The QB situation seems to be OK for now.

I saw Taulia play in person when Thompson hosted my son's school, Oak Mountain. He may not be a carbon copy of his older brother but he was none the less, very impressive. He just needs to get into the strength and conditioning program. He need 20 lbs added minimum.

Hmmm...rivals has him listed at 6 ft. 190. All I'm saying is that from the stands he looked liked a stick compared to the other players. Maybe it's because he has disproportionately skinny legs. And, those sites can fib a bit. I'm thinking he's more like 5-11. But maybe it's just my old eyes.

Yeah, 5-11 185 looks totally different when compared to 6-2 220.
