Strange season in a lot of ways. Throw the rankings out the window...no spring ball, limited scrimmage, etc, etc. As a Bulldog fan, I’m just happy to see Todd Monken has opened up UGA’s offense a little. No more first two plays run up the middle, followed by a pass on 3rd and long. Fun to watch the QB that was 4th in the depth chart play his heart out. No idea where the “real” team rank would be....but their D is as solid as any college team that’s put a team on the field.

I'm at a loss here. How does a team that hasn't play a single game get ranked or a team move up a spot?

Fixed that for you. Also, I fully believe that Saban petitioning for that one second at the end of the first half was where he won the game. Georgia didn't score a single point after that and the momentum was gone.

Counter argument, OSU certainly has not proven it's not top 5 material yet, like a number of teams by virtue of not playing lol. I just want to know how UGA can get waxed and only fall to 4 and ND can score a total of 12 points on a team with no pulse like Louisville and be number 3.

Prediction: OSU will be 3 after beating the brakes off Nebraska on Saturday. I think Day will run up the score to make up for lost time.

2. Alabama
3. Ohio State
4. Hopefully OkSt if they smack around Iowa St. (sorry eecyclone), but I fear it'll be whoever screws up least between ND/UGA.
