Looks like Chuckeyes are looking for any big ten opponent and Maryland might be a match. That would get them thier 6 games. Jimbo Fisher must be PISSSSSSED.

Michigan would have to have played without 45 players so the issue is not made up.

Does anyone really think Notre Dame should get a 2nd look if they lose to Clemson even if the game is decided by 1 point? To me, is laughable for sports writers and commentators to say that they should. Clemson didn't have TL, end of story. That game doesn't go to overtime with him. If Notre Dame beats them again, Clemson is out.

TAMU is also out. They had their chance against Bama and didn't get the job done. If they got in just by florida losing to Bama, that wouldn't make sense.

B1G leadership scrambling to not lose a ton of money with tOSU only have 5 games. You telling me adding a win over Maryland, Illinois or, TTUN really gets us that much more credibility to go to the title game? It's a formality now. Get ready for some more backpedaling by leadership, or they gamble and make the committee put them in like they did years back without even playing. If not, my guess is Indiana would win the B1G and be left out of CFP due to that program's history of not being a quality football program.

How about cincy for the 4th spot if they win out?

It's a wonky season for sure. Doesn't really matter who they let in. Most teams haven't played a regular season anyway. Put a gigantic asterisk next to everything this year regardless of the outcome.

Well, as you may know, I am a Buckeye fan, and in my heart I think we have a top 4 team worthy of a shot.

That said, at 5-0 our strength of schedule is not enough to include us in the CFP. We need the title game just to be considered.

We also need Bama to roll on Florida, if Florida wins the SEC champ game, then the Buckeyes are sunk.

I think Clemson beats ND this time around so that keeps 2 ACC teams in it.

ND’s schedule is much better this year than my Buckeyes. I am not an Irish fan.

Ha big surprise here. Money aside (even though that's a motivating factor), tOSU did enough to play in the big ten title because win or lose to TTUN they were in anyways. The conference is again a laughing stock because they should never had made that rule in the first place. By trying to "distinguish" themselves by going way above and beyond what other conferences did, they ended up looking like money grabbing fools.

Indiana's head coach said as much, too. I feel for the Hoosiers though, a conference championship would mean the world to that program and their awesome coach.
