Surprised we haven't seen any discussion about USC and UCLA joining the Big Ten! Wild stuff.

So now it's going to be a conference stretching from southern California to Washington DC.

All these changes make me wonder if Conference Games actually will matter .... no way you can play everyone in the conference.
Maybe the Big Ten will be a 18-21 team conference with three 6-7 team divisions (East, Central, West)
someone is getting rich, someone is getting left out, and someone will leave the conference, everything else is unknown to me.

Well the Super Conference conversation is always a wild ride. Why don’t we just get to the end result of 2 or 4 conferences and let the smaller schools play for their own title. I thank the good LORD for quality high school football in Louisiana and don’t pay a lot of attention to college/semi pro ball. How much longer before they are paying High Schoolers NIL money?Swaha Lodge Lake Greeson Akansas..... www.swahacabins.com

First, the AP poll doesn't matter at all right now. There is plenty of football to be played before the first CFP rankings come out and I am looking forward to watching it.
However, I am curious if it is ever happened in history of the AP for the winner of a top 5 match to drop a rank with a double digit win to a team that stayed inside the top 10 after the loss.
They lost this spot to the winner of a team with a top 15 match-up. However, the loser of that game is no longer ranked (by the same voters) so one would think that should be considered an unranked win especially since week 1 ratings are mostly speculative.
Granted Notre Dame would have dropped more if the margin had been larger (which I what I think most people were expecting). I didn't watch much of the Georgia - Oregon game, but the way the voting played out made me think that Oregon looked really really bad and Georgia looked really really good. This situation has to occur for Oregon to completely drop out of the rankings and Georgia to gain a spot.
I do know that my bucks offense didn't look their typical gun slinging form, but I was glad to see us win on the run game when we needed it (which is why we lost to TTUN) and the defense looks improved. I also know that the star receiver (even heisman talk) was knocked out of the game (which is probably a good reason for the poorer passing performance) and all other receivers basically had one game of experience.
I honestly find it funny, because if I just posted these facts without naming teams as a hypothetical situation; wouldn't it seem a bit odd?
