lets get down to down under - Australia..........
currently in the middle of summer at the moment so the X2 is churning thru the petrol....
we are currently at 159.9 a litre
4.5 litres to the gallon makes our price $ 7.15 a gallon AUD
Convert that to USD and we are paying $8.12 per gallon
NO not a typo - $ 8.12 per gallon
next time you reckon you are getting stitched, think about us............. the mongrel oil companies come up with every conceivable excuse and we are stupid enough to go along with them.
EVERY Government Department has investigated the oil companies and every one says there is nothing untoward...... so how in the F$%^ do we end up paying thaty amount of moeny for petrol
a weekend on the X2 we are chewing thru about $ 290 of fuel
^Mad Max wouldn't put up with those prices........he's just steal some petrol!
Does your boat have a blower like his that engages when you want that extra power and disengages when you want economy?? Haha.

$290? That's commitment right there. You must have figured an imperial gallon, we don't follow Englands' rules, (there was a big disagreement over them a few years ago). The US gallon is roughly 3.8 liters. Which puts the cost around $6.86 per gallon. Do you have different levels of octane? Is your fuel blended with alcohol? We have to deal with ethanol blended fuels, roughly 10%. My boat seems to prefer a steady diet of 91 octane, which is currently priced at $3.60 a gallon.
