How long are you going to be there? My wife and I just returned from a 3 week backpackingish trip around Europe, including Paris. Most places we stayed were from wimdu.com

10 days but with the comforts of home, balcony, great neighborhood deli and bakery. Reservations for dinner will be Le Jules Vern, Guy Savoy, and Le Cinq

heading to paris next monday ... 3 trips there over the next 6 weeks

segway tours are a great way to see paris ... they start near the Eiffel Tower

been there twice and best meal we had either trip was on the Eiffel but make reservations in advance. we stayed in a 2br condo near notre dame but across the river 4 blocks. still have not made it to Normandy but have done most of the paris stuff. have fun and a great town.

one of the best trips i've made was a weekend trip to Normandy ... just incredible to see where all those heros landed

Now if I could do 6 months in Paris and 6 months in Orange Beach (our retirement plan) I'd get "you know what" till the last breath!
