  • [QUOTE=slalomjunkie;1383689]What an amazing day Saturday. Hunt in the AM, ski in the PM.

Nice buck but anybody can score where you are...

I'm anxiously waiting to read how many buoys you bought with the new ski

Man, the ski is so different, I have not run a 22 yet. saturday I ran all of my -15 passes.

It won't be until next season when I get her dialed in. I'm worried that I would be making adjustments when I am skiing colder water, more stiff, windy, etc... So for now, stock settings and come back in spring.

            • Nice buck SJ. I would be pissed to find that on one of my cameras. I got a pic of a guy and a kid on a 4-wheeler one day and was really pissed. Come to find out our neighbor had some cows out, and my father in law told him to ride to the back of our place to look for them. Wasn't pissed after that.

              • I am going bow hunting for first time this Thursday and Friday and then gun season opens on Saturday. If deer are not moving I will just go catch some crappie.
Someone asked what kind of bow people use. I have been using a Mathews Switchback XT.
Love it and been using for quite some time.

Sadly, I have not had many good cam pics this year on any of my four cameras. But, the acorn crop is so good the deer have not been coming out of the woods much.

                  Thanks!

So anybody know how to catch a unique deer?

                  Unique up on it...

So, you might wonder, how do you catch a tame deer?

Tame way – unique up on it...

LOL - thanks - I wasn't sure to post this here or on the morning joke thread

Two deer hunters hired a pilot to take them way back into the forest. After the hunt, the pilot returned and saw that they shot six deer.

“The plane won’t carry six deer, you’ll have to leave two of them,” said the pilot.

Unwilling to leave their deer, the hunters said “We got six on the plane last year.”

The pilot gave in, and just five minutes after takeoff the plane crashed into the forest.

Lucky to be alive, one of the hunters said, “Any idea where we are?”

The second hunter said, “Yeah, right about where our plane went down last year.”

Is that a spike? I can't see any branch on that left side.

                            • I had this guy lay down 10 yards in front of for 20 minutes. He never busted me. I've been seeing lots of action, just all small ts and smaller.
