Ok everyone I need some Ideas for Garage / work space .. I need to build out 2 showroom acceptable work bench / storage unit about 8-10' long unit be in a space where I show boats as well as do work any ideas ? This is kind of what I'm thinking with butcher block top or metal

I think it really depends on your budget and true use of the storage/work top/etc... if you are going to be really rough on the top go w/ a metal top, but I'm a big fan of the butcher block top - that stuff really looks nice. Maybe some upper storage units as well. I bought these at a big box shop, the front is oak I think - I painted rustic and built the bottom storage myself. This was just a laundry room though...

It would be really cool to incorporate boat/ski's/wakeboards/etc... as well. Maybe storage shelves or something made out of ski's?
