  • Bag/portable chair

Tired of pitching cheap and even semi cheap chairs into the trash every year. I also hate the bag.

Anyone have experience with good/great portable chairs.

Need better for the hours of soccer watching that goes on with 3 kids in travel soccer.

looking for lightweight, comfortable and strong.

    Like the yeti of coolers.

    Thanks for the research

If you are taller, highly recommend REI Reclining Camp Chair. Maybe not quite Yeti, but our favorite and we have tossed many busted cheaper versions.

Are you talking about this one?

The roomy REI Comfort Recliner is not your average camp chair. It features a reclining back to optimize your comfort.

I've been looking for another one, great chair, but they stopped making it. I had one for ~8 years and it was great, but just broke last weekend :-( If you are talking about a different model, I'm very interested!

I've had good luck with Kijaro chairs. Link => KIJARO CHAIRS We have two regular sized and one XL (for my big azz).

One of the regular sized ones (my first) I've had to replace most of the rivets with bolts and nylock nuts as they've worn out over 5 years of use.

Other than that, no complaints. Good value for the $.

Did not realize the REI Recliners are not available anymore, ours are likely 6+ years old.

Those Kijaro's look tremendous, I already hit buy on the EXO shade.

Holy crap people, $300 on a chair is a little absurd.

Costco has a good option right now. Pretty comfortable and has a little side table. Timber Ridge brand.

Shop Costco.com for electronics, computers, furniture, outdoor living, appliances, jewelry and more. Enjoy low warehouse prices on name-brands products delivered to your door.

Guess it’s genius marketing on their part. No way I would ever let anyone sit in it or even dare sit by a fire with for fear of a hole being burned in it.

Got one of these from field and stream earlier this year for baseball games and it seems to be a pretty good chair so far and it’s a rocker.

Helinox look really nice as well. May need to pull the trigger. This will be a big old sit test.
