    Good mpg, features, build quality, comfort, etc are things you forgo when you buy a Toyota

    The 5.4s were also said to have cam phaser issues as well. Never had a problem with them on my
    2006 F150 that I just sold but then again it only had 98K on it and I used Mobil 1 in it the entire time.

    It’s the 2018+ ones.

    I've grumbled on here before but now we have a second truck in our fleet with the cam phaser issue that has the 5.0L engine. The first truck, a 2016, had 109K on it when it happened. Now the second truck, a 2018, has 49K on it. It was $2,200 to repair the first one, this second one is under warranty, so off to the stealership we go....

    Buyer beware of post 2016 Ford 5.0L engines.
