X55 Front Ballast Tank

I own a 2013 X55, but the original owner had a bow thruster installed and the hard tank removed. I would like to install a ballast pump and ballast bag in the ski locker, but have two issues: 1) Mastercraft sealed the water intake screen that is on the bow, so not sure if I can remove and replace it or just open it up? and 2) I do not see any overflow port for a ballast bag or tank. If anyone has an X55 with a front ballast tank, I would love to know if there is an overflow port and also if anyone has advice on the best way to resolve the water intake being sealed.

I don’t have an answer for your question but would love to see a pic of the bow thruster installed on your X55. I have only seen them on Pavati wakeboats
