i forget now, but when we were shopping, the late first gens seemed to be the most simple but with the later vtec.
but theyre all probably cheap enough now that it doesnt even matter
the first gens are not that great inside, so it might be worth it now jumping to the later ones...

ill add a wild card here - a late first gen honda pilot (2007ish)
should be incredibly inexpensive at this point, ours was running great with just over 200k on it when we sold it.

from what i recall checking out shower threads when i was adding it to our x9, the boats of that era had the precut plastic panel for the shower face i think on the side of the rear ski lockers, and a standoff for the pump below the locker floor along the back

i thought acc1 and acc2 were for the shower, and the heater - the shower being whichever one is the on/off, and the heater being the one with multiple positions (#2 i think?)...

we found that the first afternoon out with the foil, that the boat setup was almost irrelevant.
