Good morning Diesel. I tired responding to the PM and received an error message stating that your storage limit has been exceeded and that my message would not be sent. Maybe this will work.

Yes, I'm in TX. Just to make sure make sure I ask the question, is there any damage to the rudder or port? I'll go $350 if it can be delivered by Friday. Address is 25919 Laurel Way, San Antonio, TX 78260.

Hey Diesel! I have a 2007 prostar 197 that requires the same prop you are trying to sell. My prop has 4 bent tips. I'd like to buy another and use current for a backup. I'd like to make a deal....

    Hey Diesel,
Just stumbled upon your foldable platform thread. I'm looking to do the same and am trying to see if it is a project I can do myself for if it's best to bring it in to the MC dealer. Do you know a good place to pick up these brackets? I treid the link on your thread but it doesn't look like they have those anymore..

    Hey Diesel,

I found an old 2006 thread about the false low oil pressure alarms. Your last post on that topic was about building a resistor pack to fool the electrical oil pressure gauge. I have a 2001 Maristar 230 VRS with the LTR 330 with the same problem--alarm goes off at hot idle. I hooked up the T with a mechanical gauge and am getting good pressure. I tried grounding out the electrical lead, but the alarm goes off for the high pressure too. Did you ever figure out a fix?? my email is [email protected]

    Hey Diesel,

I saw your comments about aerator pumps/ballast/priming issues. I'm having some problems and wanted to see if you have any advice. I put in a system using the rule 1100's, one fill, one drain on each bag. Drain works perfectly, fill not so much.

I teed the fills off the engine intake line - engine runs just as cool as ever. The pumps start very slow - and after 3-4 minutes they seem to get fully primed and pick up speed.

I have them sitting on the bottom of the hull, the engine intake is getting water - i pulled one out while in the water just to check and it seemed to flow well. My checkvalves are horizontal up by the bags - back flow not an issue at all, and no build-up that would cause the pump to have back-pressure. Even took the check-valves off to see if that made a difference - nope.

Off the engine intake line I have it teed, then a 90 bend, then a plastic full-flow ball, then another 90, then into the pump. The pumps are about 3 inches below the engine coolant intake line.

Could it be that there is actually backflow into the pump causing the issue? As far as I know, the pump should have water in it, but only so much - was thinking they needed to be at the same level as the intake line? Any other thoughts/advice?

    Thanks -
