Connect a fuel pressure gauge and before doing anything like cranking the engine, use the bleeder valve to take a fuel sample. Which ECT did you test, the one wire part or the one with a yellow and a black wire and what were the resistance readings?
They run a bit richer, but not at idle- it's not necessary. Did you test the TPS?
Connect a scanner and check the data....

How did it fry, reversed battery cables and turned the key to ON? Water intrusion in the plugs at the ECM?...
