I sold my 2006 X30 with 290 hours in 2021. In the time that I owned it, I put about 16k into it (GSA/ballast, upholstery, sound, etc.) and lost 3k. My boat brought the highest number of any 2006 X30 on Onlyinboards, so I definitely squeezed out every penny I could.

I had a 2006 X30 with the MCX. I installed the raised platform brackets from GSA (4") and didn't notice any change in noise level. I'm with you- the quieter the better!...

The NXTs have Surf Left, Surf Right, Wakeboard Beginner, Wakeboard, and Ski profiles. You can also adjust the tabs manually to really dial the wake/wave. I used to tow my '06 X30 with a TRD Pro every once and a while. All in the boat weighed about 6000lb I'd guess. Overall, the 4Runner did ok. The new XT23 is legit. I run mine with 400# of lead and I'd say it gives the X series a run for its money. It also throws a nice wakeboard wake for all skill levels if that's your jam. I even slalom behind it here and there...
