I did check my X25 this past weekend. My NMEA 2K bus is powered independently from the head unit. And I do not have the head unit NRX power option turned on. I guess I was remembering what I thought I was going to have to do in terms of powering the NMEA bus rather than how it ended up being wired when...

The depth / temp bi-ducer is likely failing. Unfortunately, they aren't cheap. But they are easy to change since they are mounted in a holder through the hull. You just have to unscrew the retaining ring pull the old one out and slide the new one in. I think this is the right one for your boat, but...

Your description implies, that the vibration started immediately after you replaced the shaft seal and re-aligned the engine. Perhaps I'm reading it too literally, but if you didn't have vibration, then you did that work and the vibration appeared. Then I would suspect the alignment isn't right. And...

The more I think about NMEA bus power, I probably need to look over the wiring in my boat again. I'm wondering if a previous owner did install a separate power feed for the NMEA bus. I'll check it out this weekend and post back here. I don't want to give false info in case my UD755 isn't providing all...

I didn't see that in the manual and I have my UD755 powering both my NRX remotes. So far it's worked great no issues. My UD755 powers up whenever I turn the boat on. I can't remember if I had to configure anything for that or not. I've never had to turn it on manually. Works that way in both my X25...

That info from Amazon is incorrect. At least relative to the UD755. The UD755 will provide power to the remotes via the NMEA 2k bus. It's an optional feature that must be enabled on the head unit in the settings menu. I didn't add any additional parts when I installed my UD755. I just wired up the NMEA...

See the other thread you started on this topic for other details. The MS-RA210 should be compatible with NRX200i remote. So, either the previous owner didn't connect up the NMEA2k bus correctly, or didn't configure the remotes properly and update the firmware from the main unit.
But the...

You need a Fusion head unit that is NMEA2k complaint and supports 4 zones. I think the Fusion Apollo Series MS-RA770 is the only current model that fits the bill. I replaced the one in my 2014 X25 with a Fusion MS-UD755 and everything is working fine. Integration with the wired remotes as well as integration...

What brand of lift? I have 2 hydro hoist lifts and they do take longer to go down w/o a boat but I'm talking maybe 10 minutes instead of 1 minute when the weight of the boat it on the lift. Both of my hydro hoist lifts have a 2nd lever you pull to speed up the rate that air escapes from the floats to...

I think this is a case where a lack of understanding has caused an unfortunate consequence for wake boarders. Essentially I think they've lumped Surfing and Wakeboarding together for the purpose of this law simply because they are both the activities where the boats employ wake enhancing technology....

Beware of the black plastic spacers on each side of where the Lenco actuators pins connect to the tab. They are easy to loose and they are important to be there. They also sink if you ever need to pull the pins while the boat is in the water.

The failure is clearly in the power supply circuit. The key question, which I can't tell definitively w/o having the PCB in hand, is it a linear or switching regulator circuit. Most likely it's a switching regulator circuit given the presence of the inductor connected to the burned PCB trace and the...

I saw in the thread you started on BallofSpray that you also saw an over-current indicator in the Diag Screen. That very well may be related. There should be a more detailed PDM diag screen that'll show which PDM output has the over-current error. It could be a PDM output that is powering the ZO black...

I won't be back at the lake house until Friday. I'll try to get a picture then. If memory serves, it's your basic black box with electrical connectors and it's mounted to the firewall. It's in a bracket because the orientation of it is quite important. So you need to make sure the orientation is correct....

For 3-event ZO, the display functions are integrated into the Murphy display, but there is still a separate "ZO display-less head-unit" that has accelerators and other hardware required for true 3-event zero-off....

I think you're going to need the longer actuator to have the power to move the larger tabs.

Check the CANBus connection between the ZO head unit and the Murphy Display. The symptoms you describe happen when the Murphy screen can't communicate to the head unit. Also check the power to the head unit including circuit breakers.

A boat is different from a car in that the water not only cools the engine, but also cools the exhaust system. When the water isn't flowing, the exhaust system overheats much sooner than the engine overheats. If the transmission shift cable is routed anywhere near the exhaust system, then the housing...
