Something sounds fishy about the "dealer" buying the boat. Normally a dealer is going to offer a seller less than the seller can get on a private sale so they have enough to turn a profit. Your agreement with the seller for $34K was about normal depending on your location and boat condition.... -
I just skimmed the posts so I don't know if this was discussed or not. Just throwing this out as something to check. Recently I had an issue with my '05 X-10 that would sometimes just cut out. Check out HydroHoist. If you do have to go with a front mount, at least with HH, their weight capacity is a lot lower than the side mount. Front mount it's 6,500. With side mount they offer between to 5,000 - 32,000 lbs.
