Always a few butterflies when you hoist a boat off the trailer, for me anyway. Worked out well. Time to get working on the bottom...

It's soon time to get to work on the gelcoat on the boat bottom. Anyone out there have any suggestions for lifting your boat off the trailer while in the shop? I was planning on an variation of this lift using straps...

Thanks again for your guidance Chuck. I'm going to redrill and reuse the old angled bracket with a new clamp. In the past I have used 3M 4200 on the four strut/mounting bolts as well as under the bracket creating a waterproof seal/bed. Is there a better caulk that you would suggest for the job?
