Boat looks great. Love the clean look!

Follow-up dumb question... for whatever reason, this peaked my curiosity, so I've been reading more on it.
Most opinions (from who knows who) seem to say reduce the torque setting by 30% if applying anti-seize.
But, before sitting down and reading that, I had just put my new...

Love the meme.... so true.
It's almost as bad as the cans of Great Stuff insulation.... you think you'll be alright, and then all of a sudden it's everywhere....

Anti-seize on wheel lugs?
Curious on the consensus…
I have applied a small amount of anti-seize to the wheel lugs before re-installing tires on vehicles, trailers, etc., for decades. Always. Because I can’t stand stuck bolts. And…. I’ve never had a wheel back its way off.
Yesterday, I removed the wheels...

Thank you! I'll run through all of this tomorrow evening and report back. Really appreciate the detail.
....seriously hoping its not the amp. Its damn near new....

Tried a jumper from the L cabin source from the EQ to the same point at the amp. Same issue.... tower speakers quiet down very noticeably....

Pulled the wheels today to drop off for 4x fresh Goodyear Endurance to be mounted/balanced tomorrow. Plus having the best one moved to the spare wheel.
Also peaked at the brakes. Pads all look great, so putting those plans off for a bit longer....Last edited by 86Skier; 06-27-2022, 08:39 AM.

Ran a temp rca to replace the left output (EQ to Amp)... brand new jbl cable... and it did exactly the same thing as existing cable. Unplug it, and tower is loud, plug it back in... quiet. Again, tower speakers don't go off, but way way quiet compared to normal....

Odd one. Need audio expertise.
Today while we were out, tower speakers got quiet. Not off, but way quieter than normal... like a fraction of normal output. Messing around with it, I found that it gets loud again when I remove the Left rca input between the EQ and the Amp, so only the right is connected. Put the left back on, quiet....

Thanks.
I had actually been trying to find them on etrailer, but struggling to cross-reference MC part numbers. I am 99% sure they are UFP, but will confirm this evening....

2014 MC Trailer Brake Pads?
A few quick questions:
Can anyone confirm that Part #653126 from MCPartsDepot are the correct brake pads for a 2014 Tandem MC X2 Trailer? Appears to be, but would like confirmation before ordering.

That last picture, with palm down, nose tight, says it all. Feeling of accomplishment mired with the end of what was probably a feeling of being frustrated as $hit.
Love the update! Boat is looking amazing....

Some states are different, so check yours, but in Michigan you need a trailer weight, length, and proof of ownership in order to register a trailer. Most trailers aren't titled here, so the bill of sale acts as the proof of ownership. I usually just describe the trailer on the BOS.... something like...

There will be a section on the title for the seller to complete and sign-off on. Make sure they sign it and fill in everything completely.... then just take that with you to your home-state DMV.
I would also make sure to get a bill of sale (even if its just hand written) that clearly includes...

Any boat over 20-ft has to be titled in Michigan. Boats under 20-ft only require a title if they have a permanently mounted engine....

I'm not saying it is definitely the raw water pump, but I'd seriously look into replacing it due to the chance that it is.
I say that, after chocking up a similar squeal last season to a bad belt. Different engine, but mine started to squeal a small amount while on the lake by the house...

When we got into it a few years ago, I was directed to the Hyperlite Broadcast for the adults and Hyperlite Gromcast for the kids, and would buy both again if starting out.
Both are good, stable, relatively inexpensive boards that work great for starting out and allow you to improve with...
