integrating speed control into a 2012 X25
Found a 2012 x25 that does not have the dreaded big screen and surprisingly it does not have perfect pass either. Has anyone integrated perfect pass or zero off using the 3.5" round display successfully into a 2012 MC? Can it even be done?

I don’t think their is a single person on the planet who has ever bought a klipsch system for their boat. Why Mastercraft went with them over JL or Wetsounds is a headscratcher....

Disconnect the throttle cable behind the armrest and see if it smooth. If not replace the throttle you can buy the non electronic version and move your Pedal position sensor over to the new one to save some bucks. I did this last year. Takes about 30 minutes to swap the parts

Only takes one blade on your prop to be bent 2 mm or so to get vibration. Take your prop off and lay it Face down on a flat surface and grab the hub and see if you can get it to pivot between two blades. You should have zero movement and if it pivots your prop is bent

Found a company called JS alternators that are all made in the usa. They sell a marine 170 amp alt for only 250 bucks. Hopefully will have better luck.

Gets even worse. Alternator does not work. Completely lost faith in Chinese parts now. Reinstalled my old alternator and shipping the other one back keeping my fingers crossed for a refund....

One thing I learned about after market is that it’s never a perfect fit. The Chinese alternator had a insert that I had to cut with a hacksaw. Not too big of a deal but A little frustrating because my blade was dull and it was hotter than hell outside. My new Forum wire should arrive tonight just in...1 Photo

It’s made by medallion. Master craft has sourced parts from them for decades now. so Mastercraft has basically abandoned 2012 boat owners. This screen below is from a 2008 boat. I helped a buddy source this part back in 2017 for under 600 bucks. Now it’s 5k. Absolutely ridiculous. This is a 200...

Why are replacement touchscreens so expensive
I was looking at a 2012 Mastercraft that had one of the first generation touch screens. Mastercraft wants 10K for it now. Are you freakn kidding me!! For those of you buying new boats with 2 digital screens I can only imagine it will be a 20-30k repair in ten years. Is this really a justifiable price...

No harm done. Your fuel pump has a filter on it. Impossible for anything to get through it that is not in a liquid state...

Went ahead and ordered the same alternator for $153 bucks. Was going to buy the 800 dollar one but money saved is going to towards a new Rolex instead lol. Thanks for link on your post on page 2 on where to buy the upgraded wire. Hopefully it fits my MCX engine with no problems. Did you have a fuse...Last edited by gwozhog; 06-12-2022, 10:59 PM.

Congrats on your new 205v. Proper way to drain the zfhurth trans is to remove the transmission filter and drain it through there. takes a 6mm Allen socket to remove the cover. The tube goes all the way to the bottom of the transfer case. If your oil is getting milky its possible the lower trans seal...

255k to ride a knee high wave is nuts. Get a 205v. It will surf better than you current xstar and you can ski behind it too. With the 220k saved you can remodel your lake house.
