OK I found it, not an easy place to find or work on at all. Its on the front of the engine hidden below the large pipe. I had to take the water pipe off to even get the rubber seal off the sender...

I have just done the full change over from the dreaded MDC Medallion issue to Faria, but my temp sender is not working as the temp stays on cold, I cannot find the tan wire anywhere on the engine....

I just did mine also on a 2001 ProStar 190 - got it off Amazon, I sanded the inside and cleaned it - it stuck very well. Will see how it holds up this summer.
