you should do a compression check on all cyl and a leak down test as well... hopefully the freeze plugs did good and saved the block... but I would do that at the minimum, then you know if it is...

I have an 01 and used 303 to keep it as best I could.. now after 4 more years it is starting to really go to pot... next year maybe I will have it all redone.. doing a piece at a time is hard to do...

there is probably some benefit to cleaning up those ground connections and putting in a new set of plugs and probably wires... if you are in there doing all that too...

you need to look at the pump this sounds like there is a leak in the delivery system somewhere.. probably inside the tank... does the pump stop at pressure? if not your problem is a leak and you get...

did you hit something? If you have a spare prop do that or get a prop and try it... The odds of the shaft being bent without major damage is 0...

my guess is something dinged your prop...
