I believe that a significant source of voltage drop is due to the safety switch. Literally all of the power that goes through the on section of the ignition goes through the safety switch.

I did...

Makes me think I need to get a new truck sooner rather than later. Our MegaCab is lucky to get 10 mpg towing a 3000 lbs boat, let alone a 6000 lbs boat. That said, it's hard to justify a new truck...

Electric over hydraulic brakes are a must have if towing near the limits. I would argue it should be necessary on any towed weight over 6000 lbs.

Tundras are rated 9-10k lbs. I would say weight...

The 2021 F-150 (and most other half ton trucks I assume) have a payload capacity around 2000 lbs for the crew cab configuration. Going back to 2015, this is the case as well, so I presume most 2010+...

I use automatic leveling air springs on the back of my Megacab for two reasons: I don't have to think about it, and it prevents my HID retrofits from causing glare while towing or heavy loads....

Still must have used some engineering expertise, particularly the shift patterns.

Did not know that. I did know that initially, Ford stuck to the 6 speeds for a while rather than using the 9 speed.
