We drove from Denver to New York and picked up our boat. Left Wednesday. Picked boat up Friday morning first thing. Back to Colorado. Stopped twice on way back ti out the boat in the water and mess around! Little over 2,000 miles one way.

We also added the two 8.5" to our tub on our Star, we put them in the factory spots in the coffin storage that would come on the premium plus package, I believe it helped add to the cabin sound, more volume, more depth. Cheap and easy addition, worth it for us as we added new JL AMPS, 4 85 towers...

While I agree that the surf system has been a large upgrade through the years of the star. I am assuming your buying a warranty with this purchase? We have had zero issues so far with our 18 star and we did 120 hrs on our boat last year and almost exclusively surf. We haven’t lost an activator yet....

One trip to LOTO is all it took for us to never want to go back again. Water terrible a lot of the time except first thing in the morning. We didn’t even take boat out on the 4th or 5th on that trip it just wasn’t safe for our family. Table rock is just a much better experience for us and our family....

We've done two separate road trips with the kids to get our last two boats (from Colorado to Texas and Colorado to NYC) and it was an awesome experience both times with the kids. On the last one to NYC we stopped 3x on the way back and ran the boat, surfed a little and discovered a couple of new lakes...

Our vinyl star split near the handle as it seems everyone's has done. MC warranty took care of it. We are careful as well, looks like the new updated flip seat is a better design to help prevent this from happening on the 22+ models? Ballast 100% full
250 lead starboard side
350 lead port
Kids and one adult in the bow
11.5-12 mph depending on how many others in the boat.
50-70% tab also depending on the numbers of people. Just...

Yes sir. Down there yesterday. Got rained on pretty solid, but cleared up in an hour and kids had a great time surfing after that. Starting with rain this morning, but tomorrow looks better. Rain has brought a bit more debris, but still nothing like the photos above, or during memorial weekend.
