I realized I put the wrong number in for the age of the boat it is 34 yr old not 37. I hit the wrong number and didn’t realize it. Same results.
Yes I do agree that oil purchased today is probably much improved over oil back in the day.

I agree that oil tech has changed over time. What I can say is that I spoke directly with an Indmar engineer and asked this exact question when SAE 30 oil started to become a little difficult to find. He told me to “ Absolutely not use a multi viscosity oil”. So I continued to use SAE 30...

Check your manual for the suggested oil. The older Ford 351 Windsor marine engines required a straight SAE 30 oil not a multi viscosity oil. Push the oil drain line that comes off the bottom of the oil pan through the center bilge hole while on the trailer. Run the hose into a drain pan and take off...

It isn’t really hard to get it out but it is a bit of a pain to get to. You have to take the gauge panel loose by reaching up from behind and finding and removing the nuts that hold the panel on. I think there are four of them. Then you can fold the panel out to get to the back of the gauges It...

2000 210 vrs ski storage
I have a 2000 MariStar 210 vrs. Does anyone know what lift shock the in floor ski storage needs. The previous owner took it and the hinge off and I would like to replace it but not sure what to order.
