Ever since joining this forum I religiously keep my tank topped off. Prior to joining I wasn't aware that the fuel pump is cooled by the fuel itself. I have a 2001 prostar 209 and I believe the capacity is 34 or 35 gallons and I think the most I've put in was 18. I don't think I'll ever let it get lower...

What prop would be best for a 2001 prostar 209 with 330 LTR and 1:1 transmission? I currently have 4 blade prop (i imagine it's the stock one) boat runs great, got 47 MPH by myself on calm waters a couple weeks ago....

Nice boat, although I don't have a V-drive I can answer a few of your questions. The red "perko" switch is for a dual battery setup. I have one in my boat and I typically run the boat on "ALL" which means it's using both batteries and charging both equally. This is a handy setup...

Cool boat! I bet that thing cooks! I think it's very reasonably priced. If people consider what a new boat costs. Also I bet that thing has an awesome slalom wake. GLWS.

First off, sorry that you're unhappy with the product you received. As you mentioned, at the price point you're paying its normal to have high expectations and want it the way you envisioned it. However, after seeing a couple other pictures of the "combat green" on different MC's it appears...

Hi guys was doing some cleaning on my boat, wiping bilge etc and noticed a couple unplugged ends of wires. Any idea what they're to? Boat runs perfectly, just curious. 2001 LTR...

Checking oil level questions
Hi guys I'll be dewinterizing my MC this week and will be doing a fresh oil change. I'm going to be very cognizant not to overfill but I had a couple questions to get the correct fluid level.
1. I found a indmar manual that states you should wait up to 30 minutes to let oil set back in...

Looks like chrome/OEM for now...if I did switch colors would dome numbers be able to replicate the "Prostar 209" decal in the back corner? It has a unique "T" that looks like a star. Not sure how they would do that or if they could? I'd also eventually like to get matching domed...

I assumed most boaters knew they were responsible/liable for their wake and the damage that it may cause...perhaps I was wrong :-/

I second that. I'm sure ill sound like the "get off my lawn guy" but the wakes are becoming increasingly larger and larger. I don't dislike wakesurfing as an activity but drivers need to be aware of their wake. If I'm not careful and don't take those wakes at the correct angle I'll swamp my...

Contemplating new badges, opinions please
Hi guys I have a 2001 prostar 209 that has original chrome domed badges which I think still look sharp but I've been contemplating switching them for a different color. I'd like to keep the same decal/badge but change the color. I was thinking of black body with red outline. What do you think might...
