    Funny thing about user names

So I was out of town for a long weekend and went to check into a hotel. The people at the registration desk could not find my registration. They kept looking and I finally showed the confirmation on my phone. They asked are you Mr. ONTHE. Of course my ID could not confirm this name. Apparently, Google...

Marathon tires were among the worse, which is why they are discontinued. I will have to say that I have had good luck with Maxxis and Carlisle.

Waterlogged, this picture does make the hull look white. Definitely sand color. Fenders are white like original

Yes and yes. As the owner of over 30 trailer tires on the road, those are the top of the line. Not worth going cheap, unless you want to be on the side of the road with beat up fenders.

The wrap shop suggested spraying with bed liner. I was on the fence about this because I think it would add strength. I decided to try to keep them as original as possible so I could have the MasterCraft decal on the side....

Mine is also the sand/ rust color . Some of the pics may show a different shade. It was the only MasterCraft I could find in 78 when I decided I had to have one. Turned out to be my favorite color scheme....

For you Ironhorse. I am the original owner of this boat. It sat for over 15 years while life went a different direction. Last year I spent more than twice what a paid for the boat, new engine from Michigan Motorz, transmission, hoses, fuel lines and many other items from SkiDM and a new custom fuel...

Fetched the boat out of the pond today. I lost sleep last night thinking about how adding another 2x4 to the bunk and how it would affect the stop block in the front. Also had to modify the shackle chain lengths that hold it in place. Turned out to not be a big deal. Getting the fenders back tomorrow...

I had the trailer rebuilt years ago with hot dipped galvanized material. Was not dipped after fabrication so the welds were beginning to rust. I scraped, sanded, cleaned and acid prepped the metal. Sprayed 3 coats of cold galvanizing compound and replaced the bunks wit KDAT lumber. ...

Dropped the boat in the neighbors pond so I could continue work on the trailer. Also a shot of the fenders at the wrap shop. These are 45 years old, no way to replace, did not want metal. Came a long way from the broken up plastic...
