Ya I am really impressed with the interior. Its such a massive upgrade over my '19. 5.7 is a great motor and its basically bulletproof but man I am not bummed to see it go. The gas milage is abysmal towing or not. I read something recently that stated is the single least fuel efficient motor vehicle...

I have a 2019 with the 5.7 and the only thing I can say that I like is that it is definitely reliable. That being said everything else about the truck leaves so much to be desired and this refresh addresses a lot of that.

Im a fan of this new powertrain, ford has proven it works with...

Awesome write up! Interested to hear how the XT 23 differs. On top of what Moose laid out here, increasing speed above presets to 11.2-11.8 really helped lengthen the wave on our Xstar for the steeper wave settings.

Additionally adding another 550 lbs in lead helped firm up our wave a...

  • We are going down this road again. Anyone that buys a boat for anything other than the enjoyment is in it for the wrong reasons. No matter what number you calculate, its going to be high, and its going to be worth it every single time.

HAHA just cant let it die. Well played.

Long time ago was summerizing my boat after winterizing it for the first time and swapped the hoses on the water pump accidentally. Thankfully we caught it relatively early and only damaged some sensors on the motor and nothing more but Ill never...

  • I just replaced all of the impellers in my boat, its really easy. Buy from wakemakers and make sure you get the correct ones for your boat. From there just use a 5/16s socket and remove 2/3 screws, pivot the cap, pull the old impeller and put the new one in. Make sure the gasket is set, replace the...

  • Yup August and Sept have always been the best time of the year up here but doesnt seem to be the case anymore.

I have a bunch of family coming into town over the next couple weeks and have no clue what to do with them if we cant go on the water, hike, ride mtn bikes etc. Recipe for disaster...

  • Not sure what part of CA you live in but in Tahoe its $7.50 a gallon on the water so its easy to pay over $400 to fill on the lake. I knew this when I bought the boat and its just part of enjoying the sport we love but man its a lot haha.

I just fill up off the water whenever possible...

  • I have always wished there was a Doug DeMuro for boats. Maybe this is my next calling but I dont have a strong enough relationship with anyone in the industry to get the access I need. But man it would be an awesome resource for guiding the beginning of the purchase process....

  • I dont hate the way you are going about this.

For me its the thought/principal more than the money. If I invite someone and I know its a one off, I assume the cost. For close friends that I know are coming with us often, I just preface at the invite that gas money is appreciated, and more...

Ya I have had it turned off since day 1 as well. Its overly complex and unnecessary IMO, I just never run below 30%.
