'06 X2 here too. Same squeak this season. Just dumping water on the belt affected the noise (didn't try wd40). Replaced the belt and no more issue. It took some effort to get it tight.

I suspect these extensions will not fit the zft4 tower. (I could be wrong, but from what I can see in zft4 pictures, the clamps don't appear to use the same 3-screw mounting configuration used in these extensions)

I've got a set I'd like to sell. Excellent condition showing no wear aside from the mating surfaces.
These were off a 2006 X2.
$275 (including hardware) plus shipping. I'm located in Portland, OR.
Update 6/21/21: Extensions have been sold....

Yep, the tigers are out there. Ulua beach is a popular Maui snorkeling spot. Last summer I had this tiger circle me and then swim back out to the deep.... just yards away from the beach were there were prob 50-75 swimmers/snorkelers in the water.

One annoying issue I have is that when turning ignition key to/from motor running to/from AUX mode, power is briefly removed from the BT module. At minimum this causes the iphone source...

Excellent ideas!
I ordered a shield as a possible option for the boat dash. (and a 2nd one which may also find it's way to the back window of my tow vehicle). For the armrest, I'm thinking a low-profile solution may be desirable (such as Psgwake's suggestion... and a possible quality...Last edited by DryHop; 06-30-2017, 12:05 PM.

How to fix/conceal holes in dash/armwrest??
I just installed a JL Blutooth adapter and removed the old Harmon Kardon ipod interface (installed by local dealer when boat was new) on my '06 X2. The old ipod controller joystick and display left some nasty holes in the dash and armrest.
Any suggestions on the best way to fix/conceal...

The Seastow suction cups are only about 4". I have the gate mounted as far to stern as possible, on the 4" lip below the large X2 decal. In my case, it mounts very secure. (It has stuck securely for 5 surf sessions now)...

Bob for President... this is his design with slightly bigger 110degree blade. Seastow fits on the '06 X2 lip (with no room to spare). Full X2 fly-high ballast fill (2 lockers plus bow sack) 10.6mph.
