replied to Raising the swim deck on 06 X2
The most improvement I've made to my wave was adding the center trim (attitude adjustment) tab. Cleaned up the wave. I cut down the sides of my teak platform, but until I added the tab the top of the wave was just washed out. Here's a post with a picture comparing my two swim platforms:

  • I wanted to follow up on my earlier post. I took a look at my fuel regulator and it didn't have the tab for the static ground like the one pictured above has. Not sure if the tab was added to later versions of the pump or it varies by model. I've been running without the green static ground wire...

  • I went back through my emails and here's the instructions I received from Charlotte Ski Boats back in 2014:

"Below is the wiring harness instructions.

The new harness adapter has 2- 12 volt wires and 2 ground wires. You will have to cut the original fuel...

  • Sounds good. Stancraft is probably going to be the most convenient from Pend Orielle if you're going to be camping in Idaho. My option is a little farther to drop off the boat and get back to Idaho, but would be convenient on your trip back to the west side....

  • Thrall-
I'm a little further west than you probably want to be (Barker Rd Exit 293 third exit coming back into Washington from Idaho), but I have a warehouse with room and my business is about 3 minutes north of I-90. Timing would be the only problem as I'm going to be up at Priest as much as...

  • Stancraft built that one quite a while ago, I think around 2012 or 2013, before they built the wood Mastercrafts. I've seen it a number of times over the years out on lake Coeur d'Alene and at the boat show. I think the original owners had it on Flathead Lake....

replied to 2006 x2 gauges not working
I have seen something very similar in my boat a few times over the years. I get the message BAD ECU and none of the gauges work expect the Perfect Pass. In my boat it's always an indication that my battery is low. I've always been able to solve this by plugging in my onboard charger and letting it...

We had a machine shop located across the street from my plant. The owner Bob decided at 75 years old that he was not interested in continuing to operate the shop. He tried for a couple of years to get a younger machinist in to take over the business and to continue to service his existing customers....

The only thing that comes to mind about the 2000 era boats is the fuel pumps. Dealt with this on my boat once and my cousin's twice. Like you said "easy to wrench on" we replaced them ourselves thanks to the fuel pump thread on this forum. Only time when I felt my boat let me down since...

replied to 2006 x45 tower plugs
I think I may have a couple that I bought from a member here and never installed. Do they cover the holes on the top of the tower where the allen bolt drops through to hold the speaker on? I'll check at my lake place this weekend....

replied to Hit A Tire with the MC
I know that we use tires around our dock pilings at Priest to keep the dock and pilings from rubbing each other to death. I used Precision Propeller to fix one of mine and they did a great job a couple of years ago.

  • Not sure if you've come across this. It doesn't list either of the numbers you gave for your existing control box. You might be able to contact Lenco directly to see if they can help....

    replied to Instant Pot
Here's my recipe for Chicken Chili-I made a ton of this during Football season for my tailgates. The Instapot is great because I can make a batch in an hour and half instead of the 5-6 hours it took using a slow cooker.

    1.5 lbs Chicken Breast
2 ea 15 oz cans White Chili Beans...

Yes you can easily replace the relay. I'm pretty sure the relays in my ballast box were these exact ones:

You should find your ballast breaker control box and take a look at the relays. You can...

If it’s setup like the older versions its probably a bad relay. I had the same problem with mine and I could tap on the box that holds the timers and relays and get it to kick on.
