Nice find. I restored an 89 a few years back. Great boat that served us well for years.
The driver side window can easily be replaced with lexan or other plastic. Available at TAP plastics and elsewhere. Remove window frame, drill out rivets replace window and reverse the process. Hopefully...

I think if you loosen the set screw on the bottom of the throttle handle you will be able to remove the handle. Then remove the fitting behind it and the "signature" plate to reveal the attachment hardware. Good Luck!

Looks very similar to the construction on my 205V. I reattached the bolts with a good epoxy after roughening the surfaces and removed the drivers seat to allow the panel to swing out at the base. This allows more room for your arm/hand to reach the bolts from the back side. Not terribly easy but it...

I think '81 was a transition year. IIRC some newer (squared windshield (deluxe?) boats) were sold as well as the rounded windshield boats of earlier years. So, two different vents....
