Good looking boat! Welcome to the MC community. What you have is a Maristar 210vrs. Amazing boat for skiing, wakeboarding, surfing (w/the right set up), & just general boating. I grew up on a 230vrs, essentially the same boat just 2 feet longer. I cannot say for certain that the VRS means anything...

Holley 4010 600 CFM
Hey all, I'm selling a carb. Holley 4010 off of a 1993 351. I know they're not the most desirable units but this is a solid carb. Only reason for selling is that it didn't love starting in the super cold (35-45 degrees) and I'm stubborn enough to want to be skiing then and don't know enough about carbs...8 Photos

My father works for a marine elastics company which operates in the mooring & dock anchoring realm and this is a type of anchor they use in some applications. I haven't the slightest clue on the details on sizing and what not but your idea definitely has merit to it. My only question is why not...

Just a heads up for those that are curious, I did end up just drilling into the so called mounting supports and to my surprise it was perfect! I found inside the support channels there was black plastic to screw into. Seems to be super solid!4 Photos

1993 Prostar 190 Heater Install
Hey all, gearing up to install my heater and after crawling around in the bow of my boat for an entire afternoon I couldn't find a decent spot on the floor. I was cruising some forums and read that there are mounting locations on the underside of the bow lid. I think I found the spot but it seems precarious...

That looks excellent! This is exactly the fit I have in mind. I am half way concerned about the waterline fit as my boat spends the summer in a lift and I just don't know how difficult it will be to get it on right with the guide bunks....

good to know about evolution, I have never even heard of them. I'll have to reach out and get a quote. Even at the $890 price point I'm still leaning towards doing it myself. My total costs using the best of the best sunbrella and thread with a waterline fit and platform cover will still put me under...

Cover Recommendations
Hey all, last summer I tried every trick in the book to make my 30 year old cover waterproof again. The only solution I found to work was throwing a tarp over it. That being said I have now come to terms that I need a new cover. I have what seems to be three options; the first being skiboatcovers.com...

If I remember correctly I have seen some on ebay, I think they were on the pricier side so if someone on here has one it can probably be had for less....

This thread rocks! My platform off of my 93 prostar was in ROUGH shape when I bought the boat, didn't know if I would be able to bring it back. So I made one of my many xmas break projects to give it a shot! I took out all of the short dividing slats and belt sanded them individually, belt sanded the...

I can second the fuel point. I've got a '93 190 which admittingly is a completely different hull but if I had my way I would only ski behind it with 1/4 of a tank of fuel because the wake is considerably better. Sucks when you have to paddle back to the dock but as long as the set was worth it!

Love the first hand experience. I don't think I want to mess with a valve. Thanks!...

Would you say the reliability tradeoff between the pump and the wye is offset by performance benefits?...
