For what its worth, a few years back I had a set of brand new bearings that I couldent get the shaft in and wondered the same thing.I reordered the same part # and the new set was fine. I think there are some floating around out there that are just the wrong size. Either way they have the wrong cutlass.... -
I was pointed to muriatic acid many years ago. Some dilute 50%. Some apply full strength.
You can buy it at a pool shop. It is also used for etching concrete so be warned if you have a nice driveway and don't want spots. (I used a local diy car wash on a rainy day when no one was there)

Those don't look like the right plugs to me - They should be MR43LTS. I suppose they could be a cross reference?

I have a '99 230VRS and am certainly in the market for the original non medallion guages, and interior seat panels.
Also interested the hatch actuator, and the platform for the right price....

I also have an 01 LTR 1400 hours and finally swapped my plug wires last year with the skidim set. I spent way too much time looking to cross reference to a cheaper automotive set. Couldent sort it out and wasnt worth the time. I also looked at making my own but again not worth the time in the end....Leave a comment:

Are you sure it has a medallion? Our 99 230vrs doesnt. (My 2001 190 does) My 99 speedo also did the same last year and it turned out it was the needle spun loose on the guage shaft. I pulled the whole thing apart as a science experiment but ended up just finding a replacement on ebay.Leave a comment:

I have been that route and couldent find the yellow side. It seems that just replacing the black side has corrected all of the problems I have seen around here over the years.
