melissalevi Current MasterCraft models use Ilmor marine engines built on the GM 6.0, 6.2, and 7.4L blocks.
That being said the engine and manufacturer depends on what year we are talking from 1968-2022.

MasterCraft has used numerous engines from at least three different companies and three different block manufactures over the years. Speed depends on which hull you are talking about and what engine, transmission and prop you have.
What are you trying to figure out here?...

Interesting - I was able to use the HydroLock tower on an X24 with both battery switches off. Must be a wiring issue.

The Z8 HydroLock tower will work as long as there is a battery hooked up in the boat - even if the battery switches are turned off.

Lars The 5.3 was never offered in the ProStar.
The 5.7 L was the standard engine for the ProStar from 2014-2019. The transmission was changed from a 1:22:1 to a 1.26:1 for 2015-2019.
The base engine changed to a 6.0 L for the 2020 model year.

The reason OP asked for 2009-2022 is likely because the "MasterCraft Skier/ProStar/ProStar 190: A History" thread was written in 2009 and does not detail the final years of the EVO hull which was sold as the ProStar 190 from 2001-2013.
