We have a GMC 2500 diesel. It is our long distance family vehicle. It rides nicely for a truck, as long as you put highway tires on it vs off-road tires. Add a bed cover and you can haul a lot more stuff comfortably. My wife was anti-diesel initially as well. We are on our third, and she still...

I bet this thing can drink gas at a faster rate than a college fraternity boy drinks beer.

I know how much gas our supercharge PWC drinks, this has to be notably more. I have never felt like our 6.2 was too small in our X24.

We have skied Summit county for years. For the last several, we have skied Breckenridge. They have a really nice village which is important to us as some of our group does not ski. I like Cooper mountain as it is locally owned and not part of Vail Properties (Epic). But that is also the reason we...

  • My dealer told me "no". But I have not tried. Through a dealer-to-dealer trade they ended up with a boat that did not have the flip seat. They told me they were not able to swap it out and were concerned of that missing option would have an impact on the ability to sell that boat.

I am in the similar boat - thinking about it, but not sure I am ready to do it. Finance if OK, but concern is health insurance.

My wife tells me I need my brain to be busy, so she is worried about what will happen when it is not. I know we will travel more, but that will not fill 12 months...

The handles in the racks look upside down to me. We had an '06 and the button was at the top. You press the lever in, then the thumb button to release the lock. That would be hard to do with the button at the bottom. The upholstery looks nice, but I don't believe it is the original factory, which...

replied to X24 Prop Upgrade Thread
It is cold weather season - time to start thinking about a new prop.

We mainly surf, factory ballast only. Most the time crew of 4-6, with no notable human ballast, no lead. I do ski at 35mph on occasion.

Goal of a new prop is to save fuel when surfing. But I don't want...

We have an X24 - love it. Fast fill is very nice. There is a ton of ballast in that boat. I am not a dock star fan, but have been driving v-drives for 15+ years, and don't have tight dock issues. Docking lights are nice. We seldom boat after dark, so did not pay for underwater lights. My wife...

there was a story on 60 minutes on 10/3/21 about it. They interviewed the whistleblower.

I felt she was saying that FB algorithms favor things that inspires more use of their product. But she is saying that those are controversial type of posts. Also has a twist to it that IG has negative...

  • A college age friend of our family made a statement that stuck with me. I was giving him a hard time about the number of hours (150ish a year) he was putting on his family's boat.

He said: We bought the boat to make memories using it. Not make memories with it sitting in storage.

I was able to connect and get a list of files. But the files listed as an 'update' were older than the version that came with our boat. So, when I updated, it actually down graded the boat.

My guess is that Spark doesn't handle it well when there isn't an update available. But, what you...

I was able to connect over wi-fi (2021 X24). But the AP had to be pretty close to the boat. I work in IT and have a close to corporate grade home network. Even though the wifi signal was strong at the boat it would not connect. I moved a spare AP within 50 ft of the boat, and then was able to get...
