Could be a faulty/sticky IAC or maybe throttle position sensor (TPS).
Definitely some more diagnosis would be required before being sure. Do you have a buddy nearby with the same engine so you could borrow a known-good IAC?...

Couple thoughts on fuel and air...
Does it start easier if you push the neutral button in and open the throttle a bit? This could help isolate problems related to air (maybe faulty IAC).
Try pulling the injector connectors and measuring the resistance of each injector when...

I picked up a black HOD from Acklands Grainger. It seems to work well so far. Same handle as this one from Amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/FastCap-HOD-DO...suction+handle

Depends how big you are, and what size/type of board you're riding, but with full stock ballast (evenly weighted both sides + KGB) a couple people in the bow, and a wave shaper device of some sort you should have a surf-able wave.

Ditto on being late to the party. I'm very interested to build and try a suckgate!
Makes me think of the suck-cut. LOL. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_b4Z5Kg08PY
Anyway... All of these devices work on the principle of delayed convergence. The concept is to effectively make one...

Here's a thread with some pictures from when I did some maintenance on my oil bath units. It might help you out... it might not.
