Old thread but good information. Does a anybody have a comparison with the new G Hull design on the 2021/Paragons in therms of surfing wave? I know both boats are top notch in terms of craftsmanship and they both have their pluses and minuses. I am mostly comparing the new G23 to an X22.

I had been told that Dockstar drastically shortened up the turning radius when you cut the throttle and turn to pick up your fallen surfer. Not sure of this is overzealous sales hype but if one could quicken up the surf/new trick/fall/repeat process that could be worth the price of admission.

Old thread but how does the '99 hull compare? Found a local boat with low hours and an LS-1/Northstar motor in excellent shape.

Seems like you would need another set of ropes to triangulate the position. Otherwise it would push forward (or back) and collapse to the dock. I cannot tell from the picture if there are ropes on the other side of the boat.

How many are holding up their new boat plans because the have a concern of our economic climate? We have been working and saving for upgrading but not sure we can go through it with it for fear that our country's economic system is going to implode.

I have read through the post as well and no one has mentioned the X15. Can it surf well with a balast package? I do not mind giving up storage but I really want to make a boat surf well withoug having to walk or sit around tanks out in the open.

Quick question on the surf tabs. If all tabs are down does it soften up the wake for skiing?
