I was having some fuel starvation at 1/2 aa tank.. opened fuel cap and problem went away. Checked vent and vent line all clear , even replaced it.

Under the topic general discussion you will find your answers in the dropbox library. The fuel tank regulator is from a dodge, the tbi regulator is from a 1995 chevy c1500 5.7 liter tbi and the spark arrestor just needs to be cleaned...

That ***, too bad no recourse with dealer. Not a fun proposition... maybe an engine rebuilder can find the problem and rebuild for lots less.

Really important if you get lots of water in bilge. If yours runs dry, not really needed. I do mine every 4-5 years.. run a very dry bilge in my 95

Used my hands to hold assembly. Was gentle at first then gave it the taps a bit of tough love. It was a pain between taps... hopefully bezel was not removed then add with some adhesive.

Just work it with a hammer and a small screwdriver.. i had same issue... it needs to be tapped off little by little
