I’ve never listened to Roswell speakers, but def heard of them. Nothing but good things so in my mind it’d be safe to add those to the list. Clarion is another one I’ve never actually listened to in person (at least not their tower speakers). The 3 I mentioned I’ve seen/heard their tower speakers...

Def agree with MLA. I’d decide what you want and then see which local shop can install. In my humble opinion, there are only 3 choices as far as manufacturers: JL, Wetsounds, and Kicker (w/ Kicker being the economical option). Anything else and you’ll wish you had spent more to have the right equipment....

We are required to have a boat license as well. The problem is, the course is antiquated. Alabama is a coastal state, with many big rivers that carry cargo to/from the gulf, so the majority of our boating course applies to that type of environment, whereas the casual boater on most of our bodies of...

I think wakeboats are being targeted because they literally are made to draw attention. I’ve seen just as many harmful and dangerous things done by I/Os and jet skis, but since they don’t have fancy graphics and a loud stereo system, they are pretty much ignored. It is pure ignorance to think wakeboats...

Yeah my brother has a house on Smith and this would technically affect only smaller sloughs and coves. But it just seems very open to interpretation/abuse from water patrol, which gives them one more reason to pull wakeboats over. At the end of the day, a handful of ignorant and/or self-centered boaters...

Alabama law banning wakesurfing
It’s happening. They are very close to banning wakesurfing on public lakes in Alabama. Unbelievable. If you listen to the interview in the first link below, it is alleged that a friend of a state senator said that wakesurfing is harmful and should be banned, and that’s where the bill originated....

I’m going to Copper next month. My favorite place to ride in Summit County. A very close second (although not in Summit Co) is Winter Park. As long as Berthoud Pass isn’t too sketchy, that would be an ideal place to go. Very many long, mellow blue runs, and since it isn’t in Summit County right...

I’ve been boating on Smith for the last 12 years or so. My brother owns a house on the lake down there. Pretty much everything that’s been said so far is spot on. Honestly I wish people would stop buying houses on Smith (because I’m looking to get one, too! Haha) It has gotten noticeably busier...

These last two weeks of playoff games have been some of the best football I’ve ever seen. I hope the Super Bowl is as good!

We all predicted that the two best teams in the nation would play in the nat’l championship game. And Bama and UGA are by far the best two teams. So, yeah… as predictable as it gets....

I do my own basic things: oil change, winterizing, changed water pump. It’s cheaper, I learn about the boat, and I know it’s done right. Then it trickled down to my truck. Started doing the oil changes on it. Don’t save as much money on it (markup for work on vehicles isn’t nearly...

Poorly? Really? I thought you fed on this kind of ribbing! Just trying to keep you interested in the absence of CP and his OSU antics. And as an AU fan, I have to rub it in any way I can. It may be a while before Auburn beats Bama again. Malzahn may have been a potato, but he was the most successful...

I guess that LSU upset of UF was of epic proportions. One for the ages.
