My 2002 Maristar 210 is also developing the same cracks as pictured. Mine are on the engine cover portion of the rear deck and the seat bottom over the fuel pump access. Both hardly ever get foot traffic because riders tend to enter the boat walking across the storage compartment doors. I, too am curious...

  • Maybe a long shot, but one other thing I have had problems with from time to time is my idle air control motor. Once a month or so my engine will fire and stall right away. Then will flood pretty easy and I have to neutral the trans and open the throttle a little bit. Once I pull the IAC off and clean...

  • Check valve would be built into the pump assembly.

  • If the pump primes to normal pressure, then bleeds off, and the injectors are not leaking, would have to be a faulty check valve in the fuel pump, assuming the regulator is working ok.

    Porpoising problem

    Mark:

Had a bad porpoising problem with my 02 maristar 210. I went with the trim plate they use on the newer 230s and x-30s. As a bonus it flattens the ski wake slightly and found that by playing with it a little can also enhance the surf wake. The hull...

I have 2 batteries in parallel and have had no problems at all. I installed and hard wired a Guest 5x2 bank marine charger in my 2002 Maristar 210. 5x2 simply means it charges at 5 amps per bank(battery). A battery's biggest enemy is setting in a state of partial or complete discharge. After a day of...

Stainless Steel sheetmetal screws supplied with the kit. The transom is about an inch thick, so they do protrude inside just a little. Remember to include 3m 5200 sealer\adheasive on your materials needed list....

That is about what I had to work with also. That's the reason for the cutting and grinding. Also, it makes it necessary to bend up the outside leading edge of the tab to conform with the hull. The 2006's have much more distance from the transom drain to the bottom of the hull. If you need anything else,...

Cotton at Mastercraft had no concerns about hull or transom stress. These Mastercrafts are pretty solid and plenty thick back there. Oddly enough on my 210 the transom is actually thicker in the area where the top of the actuator mounts. I would guess that to be where most of the stress would be. Have...

MYMC: Keep in mind, (ignore me if you have this figured out already) that some of these other parts will have to be shipped along with the 559025 kit to be complete. May be worth a call to Mastercraft for sure. I know the qty 2, 530062-bracket-extension trim tab, are the 2 black arms that extend the...

Well it definitely looks like the kit is not available without the control box. Kind of a shame since that is probably half the cost of the kit. Remember MYMC, if you ever need a gauge or control box, will sell you them cheap.

As far as the cost, I think in the overall picture it is...

prostar: The switch I used came in the kit from Mastercraft. You could even use a ballast switch, but it would not say up and down. They are the same type switch as a standard ballast switch (reversing current)....
