I feel like I should put this here. Flew from Idaho to Boston, purchased a truck, drove to Vermont, purchased a boat and then drove the whole thing home.

If I was doing it from scratch, I would strongly entertain the idea of adding two small heater cores rather than 1 big one. The closer the heater core is to the point of use, the hotter it is going to be. That's why the drivers foot heater outlet is always pretty hot, while the rest of the boat heater...

^ what he said.
I do remember the cost to convert to Gen2 being a little more expensive than that, more in the $5-7k range, but don't quote me on that either. There are also people who had some gen 2 type tabs made that simply bolt onto the Gen1 tabs. Not sure how successful they were....

1. Decadence flooring in the orange boat. (can be added to the black one fairly easily) - $2500? -$1,000 from a place in Quebec
2. Dockstar in the orange boat (can't be easily added) - Not a deal breaker. I would rather spend my money on an aftermarket thruster.
3. Sunpad flip seatings...

Agree. My perspective that I shared was strictly speaking about the wave. For sure they are both nice boats with a lot of differences between the two. A lot of it comes down to personal preference and what you value and how you use the boat.
As for the two Xstars you mentioned, it's totally...

Remember - all else equal- bigger boats require more ballast. The increase in weight of the boat itself is not enough offset the increased buoyancy of the larger hull. A G25 has the same stock ballast as a G23. You will end up running a lot of additional ballast in a G25 in order to get a wave comparable...

Some of the early 2020 boats came with Gen2+ which had the lenco tabs plus position sensors. I wonder how that would integrate in? I'm not sure I want to spend $1,200 just to see....

That is one of the reasons I didn't like the power tower... you had to have the battery on, and then climb over/under the tower after you put it down. I guess now you have to put the tower down, climb over it to turn the battery off, then back over it to get out of the boat?
It also seems...

That's too bad on the pricing, I know MC had a huge price increase this year. Kind of sucks for all of us who were on the verge of trying to get a new boat with all the cool '22 model year features.
I know we have been talking a lot about making the switch from BU to MC in this thread....

I don't know your current setup, but just thinking about releasing tension on a cable - it seems like a come-a-long (come-along? I don't know how you're supposed to spell it) might fit the bill. Allows you to winch, but also a controlled release....

All nice boats. The X10 is just such a well rounded boat, it is hard to top unless you go to something newer, like an XT, or get two boats.
If I was an Advanced wakeboarder and that is what I prioritized - I would look hard at a G, but if your X10 has the upgraded rear bags, you are...

Yesterday might have been my last day here in North Idaho. Water temp was 63, air temp was 71…but cold and rainy today and highs for the next week only reach the 50’s.
Ended with 80ish hours this summer. Slow one for us, but we had some challenges.
The cold water didn’t...

My 5 year old started wakeboarding this year. Couple take away points from my purchasing experience.
-Don't spend a ton of money on gear -they will outgrow it quickly; either with progression, or just physically.
-Buy a board that is a little bigger, it helps them feel...
