Yes, and that was my first thought when I first saw it, that the heater core or hoses could have been the cause. Water is not engine temps though....

Exactly what I was focused on this morning! I did check after each skier's set and I think this may be it too. I'll run without any sharp turns tomorrow and report back.
Just glad it doesn't appear to be any hull issues that were letting water in.
Thanks again for all...

Occupants are pretty limited to respectful friends that only ski and have nice boats too, the whole idea of "wipe your feet first" never needs to be said to these folks
I really do appreciate the quick comments to look for during our morning runs this weekend!!!...

I did check those two areas too - they seem to be tight. I'll try to look at the seam a little closer too tomorrow. I'll have a look at turns closer too. Thanks....

Got boat new (5 hours on it when we picked it up) and pretty much been this since we got it. Agreed on water coming in, but this is more than that would bring in. Appreciate the thoughts though....

Bilge water question
We have a 2019 Prostar and pretty much only run in calm, course conditions. After about 3 to 4 hour sets, we head back home and put the boat back on the lift. I raise the engine cover and typically have a fair bit of water in the recessed area under the engine - takes about 3 towels to dry it out...

Thanks. I checked it on the boat when I got home and verified this too. Ordered two from these guys for about $57 shipped - best deal I could find anywhere:

2019 Prostar Impeller
Thought I'd ask which one is needed before I pull the old one out to check it. I have about 172 hours now on the 5.7 engine and probably time to change. Which one do I need and what is the best source?
Thanks in advance,
Mike

You're welcome David and hope things work for you as well as they did for us. Loved that boat, but happy with the new Prostar now too....

It is a pain to climb over the tower, but you'll get used to that part after a while. No need for the poles, as no water will pool on the cover from rain. It just keeps the dust and critters out.

The snaps on that cover are a bit of a pain, but they weren't terrible. Start at the front and work your way back equally on both sides. The back snaps are pretty snug but you can leave some unsnapped since you have the canopy on the lift to protect it. I covered pretty much every time we took the...

Boat looks great there David. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did
I just saw the comments on the tower. Yes, the tower is pretty well balanced and easy to lower and raise. Be careful when lowering it though, as it can get heavy when it gets close to the rails (about the last 12"...Last edited by Coach Mike; 04-30-2021, 05:35 PM.
