One other thing I had an issue with was a leak where the rub rail comes together on the transom. Directly under the MC logoed aluminum piece.
This was mainly a problem while trying to surf with the boat weighed down...it is easy to remove it and apply lots of caulk...Leave a comment:

If so I would loosen the bolt, if I remember correctly it comes out all the way. Once the bolt is out just replace everything and tighten.

I am in Fleming Island, so Black Creek and Doctor Lake are the closest boat ramps around. Doctors Lake is part of the St Johns river and the salt content is probably higher then that of Black Creek which is only "black" due to the dead vegetation, but it's supposed to be one of the cleanest...Leave a comment:

The simplest answer would be a bad battery... I would start there. Swap the battery for one that you know is good and see what happens...
