Let me check with my wife AKA the vacation planner. When she looked a few weeks ago she said there was nothing available. Thanks for pointing out that there are options.

I'm not too particular but my wife and kids would like a cove with a private dock. They like the calm water for swimming. Based on our search so far we might be trying a new lake. So far we just can't find anything.

Thanks for the updates on both The Landing as well as the bill dying. I've booked my first week of the summer (6/26 - 7/3). Bringing some SML rookies along this trip. Should be a great time.
I am having trouble finding a house to rent for the week of 7/31 - 8/7. If anyone knows of a nice...

Ordered a Springfield XD-S Mod 2 with CT-1500 red dot from PSA. shipped much quicker than usual. My FFL called earlier today to tell me it showed up today. Due to the snow have to wait until Friday to pick up.

MM and 440 have provided great data. I have found the Acme 3289 to be a great choice. Everything is a compromise and I feel that for the way I use my boat this was a good decision It's much quieter and seems to have lower fuel consumption. If you're wakeboarding with a big crew and full ballast the...

I have the factory option ladder on my '19 Star. It is great to have as some smaller kids as well as my parents have a hard time crawling onto the platform.
As far as the ladder affecting the surf wave I don't notice a difference. I had an '18 Star without the ladder. Even if it did...

The center tab on my '19 Star broke but differently than yours did. Rather than ripping out of the housing mine broke at the end of the threads. Clean break. Very strange. Thankfully, and hopefully I didn't just jinx myself, I've had no actuator problems since.

Thanks for the tips everyone! I recognize one of the things I'm doing wrong is opening my shoulders to the boat. When I land it's as if the board slides out from under me and I fall on my butt.
I'll keep trying!

Great thread! I have a friends old board somewhere in the shed or garage that I'll try to find and post a pic. It's an antique with the old "sandal-looking" bindings.
I was a 3-event competitor as a kid and spent tons of time on the water. Pretty decent slalom and trick skier...

Didn’t get the pm yet. I’ll take it though. Maybe try another pm with your Venmo and I’ll get you the mailing address. Thanks!

Scary pic. I read in the paper (SML Eagle?) that there has been more debris removed in the past 6 weeks than in the first 4 months of the year. Crazy.

I was at SML last week. Lots of debris north of the bridge. Didn't go near the bridge the rest of the week.
A definite +1 to whoever suggested Napoli Cowboy. We went for the first time and it was great. Good food and very reasonably priced. We stayed at Bernard's but did not go the The...
