Not quite, which was the problem- the threaded portion of the new outlet is just about 1/8” too wide for the factory outlet; when I went to drill it out so I could do exactly what you are describing, I learned the way the trim ring is mounted to the outlet precludes you from just drilling it out (it...

Installed. Didn’t go quite as planned, so this may not be a permanent solution though it actually works really well.

I didn’t realize the factory bilge exit retainer nut is actually epoxied to the boat, so that created some challenges with a clean R&R; secondarily the fitting I...

Quick update- when doing some more research against Neil's link, I found this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/111629360074

Ended up ordering it and will update with pics and functionality when I try it out.

Yup! And even more shockingly… we got our buyer’s agreement yesterday. Apparently that happens when we get assigned a VIN and a build slot so….fingers crossed!...

Had the call with our Rivian guide yesterday. They claim we are on track with our Apr/May delivery window, but I read between the lines that we should also accept June as a reality as well.

    Wouldn’t solve the problem, unfortunately.

Long story short, the boat sits slightly more aft heavy in the water than it does on my lift (boat cradle rail into a boathouse). So as soon as I pull it up, I get more water rushing towards the middle and it kicks the bilge on. If I remember...

Oh, now we are talking- though I’m really trying not to have to remove the factory through hull and then reseal a new one if I can help it. But it’s a strong contender…

The issue for me isn’t so much the “parked at the dock” as much as it’s the ‘going up on the lift’,...

    Deflect Boat Bilge outlet down?

Has anyone figured out a way to deflect the bilge pump outlet so it doesn’t shoot straight out (ie onto a dock)? Without removing the existing through-hull, trying to see if anyone has gotten creative to try to get the outlet to deflect down vs out.

It’s the factory dual battery switch/VSR setup. When the charger is plugged in, the VSR light showing it’s passing current through is in which is what sparked my curiosity about using a single bank charger vs two…...

I have a 2 bank NOCO on board, and realized the other day that I wonder if that’s counter intuitive with the automatic VSR that’s part of the factory electrical system. If the primary battery gets over 12v (ie engine running), it automatically connects and charges the second battery. So wouldn’t...

This thread is like looking in a mirror…

We put a deposit on a R1T in 2018, but due to trailer size we haul in the winter, plus need for a larger SUV we switched to the R1S mid last year. We were told our delivery window is now April 2022. Haven’t been over to see their new facility...

  • That’s what the originating and receiving dealer both thought until I needed warranty work on my motor and Ilmor denied it, not having received their transfer fee. Both dealers looked it up and confirmed it changed midway through MY2019. Originating dealer was upstanding and since warranty transfer...
