  • it's funny because last summer i gashed my nose open with an over the front ski fall in the course and have definitely put my knees through a lot with wakeboarding but have never been hurt surfing (not yet at least..praying i dont jinx my self!) Right before she went we were telling her how low impact...

  • A reminder that surfing can still be dangerous

I thought i might write this because of what happened to us this past weekend. Thankfully no one was seriously injured to the point that there are serious complications, however it definitely served as a reminder that even wakesurfing can still be dangerous. I think it's easy given how slow we're usually...

    Whine coming from transmission

    Hey all,

Recently started noticing that when i put my boat in forward (doesnt seem to do it in reverse) that i hear a whine coming from what we've narrowed down to the transmission. its a powerslot 2008 on the mcx 350. not sure what could be causing this, is there any reason for concern,...

    wake on 2006 x45

A buddy of mine is looking for a new boat and he found an 2006 x45 for sale that he's really interested in. plus the fact that he has 4 kids plus him and his wife and obviously they will want to be able to have more other people on it too, having a capacity of 18 surely helps. How is the wake for wakeboarding...

  • which silent master part/part number?

my 2008 prostar didnt come with mufflers and while i love the sound of it and love how loud it is sometimes, i think i'm finally ready to put some mufflers on there. i'm especially ready because i am on a public lake and while i've been very lucky that no one has officially complained about it, i don't...

    Replacing observers heating pad

It seems that the heating pad under the observers seat in my prostar has gone out and i need to replace it. checked the wiring with a meter and so i know it's an open circuit so that it has to be the pad itself.
my question is 1: where can i find the heating pad element that plugs into the boat?...

2020...the year that keeps on giving

because of the low low rainfall this year, our lake was super low to begin with and so when i took the boat off the lift, i couldn't get it back on and so i left it at my neighbors for the remaining 3 weeks until i took it out of the water. because of this i never got around to getting the canopy off...

    engine hesitation questions

i've noticed that when i run the boat for the first time for the day, when i go to throttle up for the first time (not too fast, or slow either), the engine seems to hesitate and it shutters and almost seems like it's about to fall right on it's face. it only happens for about 2 seconds max and then...

The original owner of my boat had a little bit of dock rash on the gel coat. Was barely noticeable and no big issue really but my MCOCD kicked in so I finally had it done this year at a shop and other than that, I’m constantly cleaning it and it’s always on the lift. Unfortunately our lake level...

i was more talking of the fact that sometimes just when you get into older boats the sun is going to do what it does to it and theres nothing you can really do to stop it. things like fading are just inevitable. i don't think the boat needs to be perfect in every way but more so just taken care of and...

I would post pics but it looks like seller took ad down. I get it’s a limited edition I myself have a 40th (this is going to be for my ski buddy) but other issue is I definitely have no idea of engine and what not. To me, a boat can look nice on the outside but seeing how bad this interior was...
