Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, I've already given up heavy drinking, mind altering substances, court sports and running, driving fast, mogul skiing, and a host of other wildly enjoyable things. Slalom stick has been neglected after second hip replacement.
Now I gotta consider an MC tooner?

Congrats, that generation X20 is a great surf machine.
Do a search here for winterization, there's stickey's/checklists/SOP's galore. Recommend getting a fluid extractor and hose barb connector so you can easily change out both oil and trans fluids in the lift or on the trailer in short...

+2 to above comments. If running full crew of 9+ people, one can also back off ballast a bit or at least unload any lead.
Latest software screens also allow transfers without dumping ballast if using Custom buttons to switch from left to right side and vice versa, presuming custom buttons...

Roger that osmonet, should have sold her to you two years ago, as she’s been in storage since. Regardless, still dig your red and black hot rod and am sure you’ve enjoyed her.
Cheers Oz. Hope you have had a great season aboard....

jpwhit, would be interested in your battery storage recommendations and comments. I’ve dragged feet on this due to expense and ignorance, but would like to go this direction. Not expecting it to be economic in the short term. Thanks....

The X10 and more recent gen XT21 are the swiss army do it all MC boats and IME considerably under rated.
She skiis reasonably well for open water recreational skiers. Wakeboards well. Punches way above her category for surf wave, and easy to upgrade to significant surf wave with 800 lb...

Hail the S&S
Due to injuries and surgery, had not strapped into a slalom ski for circa 5 years. Good friend and neighbor picked me up early this AM to give her a go in his S&S.
My run was weak, I stood and bent over at the wakes, barely leaned into the turns, and was scared sheitless at the speed....

As others note, our 15 X10 best surf wave was 100% ballast, extra crew in surf corner, 11.2 mph, 100% opposite surf tab, rest tabs at zero. If larger crew put one or two in bow to lengthen wave.
The newer generation boats use significantly less opposite surf tab, see Silver Bullet’s suggestion...

It aint the boat. We have similar 2015 X10 as Oz (predecessor to your XT21), and I’m a big dood. Surf wave is tremendous and punches way above boat class.
Get front foot further toe side. Point your front arm at the wave and at the boat, athletic crouch. Surfer follows arm, whether front...
