I've seen that on a few sit-down foiler boats. It keeps the swim platform from getting trashed with foils being placed on the platform/sliding off the platform, etc. And yes, it holds up for years. Granted, for the traditionalists it would never fly - but for those foilers who don't want a swim platform...

I had a 2013 X-star. Loved the boat but thought it was time to upgrade. I wanted to stay with a 24 foot boat, so didn't really look at the new X-star....

And that's why I love this group! Spent too long trying to find the wires - they were right where Wakejunkie said they would be. I must have ran my hand over the zip tied wires 100 times, but wasn't brave enough to pull on anything since I couldn't see up there. But tried that and lo and behold,...

Docking Light install on X24 - can't find wiring
I got the rubrail docking lights for the X24 and am ready to install them. I removed the two nuts on both bottom corners and removed the front cushion. I did have to remove the speakers to get to the nuts but other than that, it was relatively painless. Here's my problem - I can't find the wiring...

EECyclone,
How do you tell the difference between type 1 and type 2 adapters? I bought them from you a few months back and am finally ready to install. One has a blue amp lead and the other a purple. Honestly I have no idea. I don't even own a boat that one of this works on. Hopefully someone else can chime in....

Thanks Tookey. Yes, I've watched your vid many times - and it would certainly work. Although my goal after test driving would be to pull the intake, hook up the 5gal bucket of antifreeze, start the engine and wait for pink stuff out of the exhaust. Then start the drive back.
I will...

X24 6.2 Intake hose diameter
Teamtalk,
A buddy is picking up a used X24 and of course he wants to test drive before handing over money. Taking the boat back up in the mountains of Colorado will see freezing temps, so I need to help him winterize before the drive home.
Can someone tell me the diameter...

Made another batch of the aluminum sliders. Answering a prior question, they are not anodized. You can find them here:
